Some Construction Starting in Glendale
Not our project, but this vacant lot on the corner of Central and California across from Sears in Glendale, has piqued my interest for some time.
This demod lot has been sitting like this for the last few years. I remember reading back in the Glendale News Press that this would be thee first new construction that would be using some new Art requirement. The article mentioned having to build a $100,000 art feature to get this project approved. Now after sitting vacant for so long, the rough grading and shoring has gone full steam ahead. This also appears like there are multiple lots being combined in a zigzag fashion. Trying to find more information is difficult, but I can’t wait to see what is finally going into this spot. Many projects around Glendale are starting up again.
