Dubai and the Oasis in the Middle of the Desert

I had to post my favorite pictures from a recent trip to Dubai, going to Atmosphere in the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.  Along with a video of us coming down from the 123rd Floor of the Atmosphere Bar where we were eating at.

We decided to have afternoon tea in the Burj Khalifa, formerly the Burj Dubai, instead of paying to go to the observation deck.  Notice the choice of levels while in the elevator.  From the 123rd floor, we could see the Burj Al Arab, The World Islands, and the new Downtown.  Below the construction is phenomenal.  There are still cranes littering the desert sands building away right now.  When I say the world’s tallest building is huge, this is an understatement.  The Dubai Mall underneath from our vantage point appears to be right underneath us.  But it takes five minutes to walk to the Dubai Mall.  The worlds tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is the pinnacle for every single person in the construction industry.
